'Harvest Moon Gypsy Flower Dance' . 30" x 40" . Acrylic on Canvas . 2017 . SOLD
I walk daily, usually past a wide field of wildflowers. I daydream of many things while I walk, allowing my imagination to drift around like the wind.
One day, I envisioned at sunset, on rare occasions, when a harvest moon would rise, and all the humans would go inside to their homes, the special flowers and little creatures would come alive to celebrate life with a Grand Dance. Like gypsies, this was a wild party as all of the grown ups were gone - just the flowers and the little beasties.
Thus, the title; "Harvest Moon, Gypsy Flower Dance." This piece sold rather quickly. I miss them in my gallery as when working late at night, at times, I could hear them rustling around, impatiently waiting for me to leave so they could enjoy life.
